After receiving her BA with honors from Hebrew Theological College, Shayna went on to pursue her BSN at West Suburban College of Nursing where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006. She completed her Master’s and Nurse Practitioner’s degrees at North Park University in 2013.

Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Shayna has eight years’ experience in direct patient care, including a special interest in lactation. She combines evidence based medicine with a holistic approach to women’s health care.

Shayna is attentive to her patients’ concerns, building a relationship of trust through sensitivity to their individual needs. She does not believe in a “one size fits all” approach, understanding that every woman’s health care needs are unique.

While adept at providing disease management, Shayna’s focus and success lies in disease prevention and wellness. Shayna has a passion for women’s health and cannot see herself doing anything else.

Living in Chicago with her husband and 4 children, Shayna enjoys being a mother, being outside, rollerblading, and playing with her children. She volunteers at an indoor girls high school basketball league, mentoring them toward sports and education.

Embodying a true team spirit, Shayna is excited to be part of the Northwest Women’s Consultants team.
