Dr. Khan received her Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a major in Chemical-Biological Engineering in 2009.
She is a 2014 graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in June of 2018 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital (OhioHealth) in Columbus, Ohio where she also served as Chief Resident from April 2017 to June 2018.
Dr. Khan has presented a poster at The Second World Congress on Ultrasound in Medical Education in Columbia, South Carolina (2013) and contributed to a poster presentation at the 13th Research Centers in Minority Institutions International Symposium on Health Disparities in San Juan, Puerto Rico (2012). She is also the co-author of two published peer review articles while attending the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Currently a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Khan will be on staff at Northwest Community Hospital. She brings her surgical training, including Da Vinci Robotic and minimally invasive surgical skills to our Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
She will continue to pursue her surgical interests in minimally invasive surgery, as well as provide our patients a caring and empathetic atmosphere. Dr. Khan is an advocate for increasing patient participation and empowerment in the decision making process for women's health care.
Dr. Khan looks forward to providing women's health care in Obstetrics and Gynecology to the Arlington Heights community.
Her hobbies include reading, baseball, traveling, and exploring restaurants in the surrounding area with family and friends.
